Hi, so today we are going to talk about our 20% time experience over the last 6 or so months.
when the 20% time project got put out me and liam wanted to do something but we ended up not and later had an hour of code day at school and me and liam helped the class and carter had came in for one of his 4 classes he really liked it and decided to skip the other classes and stay their the rest of the day. After it all liam, carter and I asked if we could do coding for 20% time and have us three as a group they thought about it and ended up agreeing to it so that's how we got in our group. later on in the year we had a few more advanced codes we thought they were really good but then now we see what we have done and the old ones are not hard at all but anyways we had two checkpoint assignments before we started preparing for the TED talks about a month later we had to come up with a plan for the TED talks we got that down pretty easy and made a background to put up during our talk, their were 3 parts carter, liams , then mine last it went very well and was a good experience i think the whole project was awesome and wish they did it every year i think they should put it into other schools around the world.

thanks!

today i was at Avery elementary school to help the 3rd grade class do coding, it went well but was a little hard to get them to understand some of it but they all seemed very interested in it. Soon 5 of them are going to come to my house with my brother because hes doing it as well and they are going to try and make a minecraft mod  their 20% time is different then ours tho because theirs has to be something that can help the community or schools so they are making a mod thing called the lucky block mod and in it you don't get anything from the block unless you answer a math question right. they started it about a month ago because they get and hour each day so its good for them. I had a lot of fun and would like to go back some time and help them again in anyway i can.

Hello,

this weeks post will be about the game we soon will be starting to create. Today we were looking at what we would use to  create it, theirs css, html, java script, and a lot of other stuff but the only one of those 3 that made sense was java script witch i know isn't used for game making. There had to be something else out their that is used to make games so we looked into it and found out that most people now use C++, so  we looked into C++, its pretty similar to css so if u know css it won't be hard to learn. we still don't know what we are going to make the game, i thought maybe like a new version of Tetris or 2048 or something simple and pretty easy then make our own large game that's never been done before.
